Vitals are good, but no word yet on his legs!! I am anxiously awaiting a phone call from the neurologist. Fingers crossed that everything is in working order...

Hi there! I found your blog just at the right time! I have a little dschshund too and she's had 2 back surgeries. We are currently going through cage rest again because of her back problems- this time between L6 & L7. Your little Winston is in my prayers. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with just how well he's doing post surgery! The second surgery, Kirby WALKED out of the dr's office! Jumping is a HUGE NO NO! Steps are BAD! If you can keep him in a kennel while you are gone and then rest him while you are at home with you, I promise he'll be good as new.
